NURSING UNIT CLERK (FULL TIME), under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing, accomplishes the Nursing Office’s strategic objectives by planning and organizing the assigned functions required to operate and maintain departmental activities and services. PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME), the Pharmacy Technician performs all Certified Pharmacy Technician duties as covered in the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Regulations and Statute, Drug Enforcement Agency rules, Federal Law. The lead technician directly supervises the Pharmacy Technicians assigned at the pharmacy and is accountable for managing the day to day activities of the technician staff and scheduling technicians. Under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, will assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department. Minimum requirements include: Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) from the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy. Acquire 20 credit hours of continuing education annually to maintain certification in good standing. Has at least 3 years of pharmacy experience. Possess a high school diploma or certificate of equivalency. Basic algebra knowledge, Proficient typing. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Ensures compliance with all State and Federal Laws and agency regulations and standards are maintained in the performance of all pharmacy functions. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, plus three years progressive work experience in the healthcare industry or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be registered by the State Board of Pharmacy in the state of Arizona and be a graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy. Doctor of Pharmacy is preferred.
